Nigerian Govt Confirms Vibration At Lagos Airport, Explains Reason

SaharaReporters had on Saturday reported that a massive vibration, which disrupted the processing of some passengers as early as 2 a.m. on Saturday, occurred at a portion of the departure hall of the terminal at the terminal building of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
“Well, first and foremost, it is wrong and erroneous to say that the structure of the Murtala Muhammed Airport is failing and there was an earthquake, as reported by some sections of the media. It is not so,” Mr. Sirika said.
“What happened is that there were vibrations at the air handling room of the cooling system. This door is a huge metal door that needs to be locked properly, and while it was locked, it wasn’t latched properly...that gave rise to the vibration because there are moving parts, there are motors and fans and other things that are activated and they function the motion to create the necessary cooling system.

Passengers Panic As Lagos Airport Departure Hall Vibrates

There was massive panic early this morning at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos as an inexplicable vibration erupted in a part of the Departure Hall being used by Royal Air Maroc.
The area, which houses check-in counters 37 to 41, began vibrating at about 2 am, and stayed that way up to the time this report was being prepared.
A passenger of Royal Air Maroc, who identified himself simply as Abdul, told our correspondent on the phone at about 3 am that the reason for the vibration could not be ascertained, and said he feared the airport may soon collapse.
The source said: As I'm talking to you now, no one seems to know the reason for the vibration as we checked every aspect of the terminal, but nothing could be found. We only lied to the passengers that a machine was switched on downstairs [in order] to calm frailed nerves. But, the fact is that we don't actually know what is responsible for the vibration. "

Earlier on this blog, we posted of how Mourinho had tried to get in touch with Neymar: http://aleafricans.blogspot.com.ng/2017/02/mourinho-gets-in-touch-with-neymar.html

LATEST UPDATE:
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho believes signing Barcelona star Neymar is "impossible".

The Brazil international has regularly been linked with a move to Old Trafford, with reports the Premier League giants were planning a huge bid in the off-season.

"I always try to be objective and pragmatic with the clubs and ask the clubs what can be given to me," he told ESPN Brasil. "Neymar is absurd. A club like Barcelona cannot and will not lose Neymar."

Neymar, 25, has scored 14 goals in all competitions for Barca this season, his lowest tally since his first campaign at the club in 2013-14.

What is Buhari's medical issue??

Sahara Reporters have learned from reliable sources at the Nigerian Presidency that President Muhammadu Buhari, who has been in the UK since January 19, is receiving "intense treatment" for a renewed flare-up of prostate issues.
In addition to his UK doctors, President Buhari has been under the care of two Nigerian physicians, Dr. Suhayb Sanusi Rafindadi, who is his Chief Personal Physician, and Dr. Ugorji Ogbonna, who had a medical practice for many years in Kano before relocating to the UK.
Mr. Buhari's UK doctors advised that he needed to stay put in London for another surgery, but the president bowed to pressure from members of his inner circle and decided to make a premature return to Abuja out of political expediency.

He added, "Maybe it was the company of these two guys, but the movie ended and - this is an admission - but at one point [Hugh] reached out, and he took my hand in those last few minutes, and I saw him go [mimes wiping a tear from his eye] like this, and then I realized I had just done the same thing.
"So, we had some time to sit there and, as I sat there I realized there will never be a better, a more perfect, a more sensitive, emotional, and beautiful way of saying au revoir to Charles Xavier than this movie," Patrick explained.

Mourinho promises 'two or three good signings' for Manchester United

Jose Mourinho says he already knows the two or three players he wants to sign to give Manchester United an extra push towards returning to the top of English football next season.

Speaking ahead of the EFL Cup final on Sunday, in which Mourinho will hope to win his first major trophy since taking over as manager last May, he confirmed that he has targets in mind as he looks to add "two or three" players to the squad.
"I think with this group of players, the squad we have and the difficulties we are having during the season, I think we are more than fine," he told Sky Sports. "I think we will be ready in July to open the door for two or three good players to help us to improve our level."
